1000th Day Celebration
If you start counting in Kindergarten and add all the days we've been in school since then---TODAY IS THE 1000th DAY for these kiddos. We've been counting--they just didn't know. So the students were surprised with balloons, a photo booth, fun games and activities, snacks, special visitors, lots of pictures and even more fun! We spent our day celebrating these kids, the fact that the majority of them have been together since Kindergarten (or longer), and how much they have learned since then. Let your child tell you all about the day! Once I get the pictures off my camera I will send you the link to view them.
Next Week
Math - Test for both classes on Monday
Science - Quiz on Wednesday
English - Next 25 notecards are due on Tuesday. We will then start writing our outline.
Reading - We will continue reading our novels..we're getting close to the end!
Social Studies - We will start studying our Amendments. State Cards test on Wednesday.
Spelling - Lesson 23 - Must do: Scrabble style grid
Memory - Tuesday - 1 Tim 2:1-2 and Friday - Matthew 5:44
